Subject: Notification for continuous empanelment of Health Care Organizations (HCOs) under CGHS, Guwahati.

The undersigned is directed to state that MOH&FW has initiated continuous empanelment of Health Care Organizations (HCOs) under CGHS cities vide letter No.S. 11045/36/2012-CGHS (HCO) dated 26.12.2017. And on the basis of the responses received from the hospital for empanelment under CGHS Guwahati as per terms and conditions of empanelment and MOA signed between CGHS and HCOs, the following HCO is empaneled under CGHS Guwahati.

The empanelment shall be for a period of two years from date of issuance of this order as per CGHS 2014 Guwahati rate list. The HCOs already on the panel of CGHS, which do not find their names in annexed list of empanelled HCOs are allowed to continue on CGHS panel as per CGHS 2014 rates to facilitate the patients who are already admitted/permitted to continue with their treatment course.

On the basis of the result of the written part of the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2018 held by Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) on 7th January, 2018, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2018. The result is also available on the U.P.S.C.’s Website http://www.upsc.gov.in.

The candidature of these candidates is purely provisional at all the stages of the examination subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. The candidates declared qualified are required to appear in the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2018 to be held on 1st July, 2018. The qualified candidates are further advised to refer to the Rules of the Engineering Services Examination, 2018 issued by the Ministry of Railways and the Examination Notice No.01/2018 dated 27.09.2017 issued by the Commission which is also available on its Website. The candidates may download their e-admit cards from the Commission’s Website around 3 weeks before the commencement of the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2018. Candidates are also informed that marks and cut-off marks of Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2018 will be uploaded on the Commission website i.e., www.upsc.gov.in after the entire process of Engineering Services Examination, 2018 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result of Engineering Services Examination, 2018. No request for change of Centre/discipline for Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2018 will be entertained under any circumstances.

Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter at its campus. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their examination/result on working days between 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. in person or over Telephone Nos. 23388088, (011)-23385271/23381125/23098543 from this counter.

Sub: Grant of Fixed Medical Allowance to Central Government Civil Pensioners residing in areas not covered under Central Government Health Scheme – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No.38/99/99-P&PW(C) dated 17-4-2000 on the subject mentioned above and to say that in accordance with the instructions contained therein, Central Government Civil Pensioners, residing in an area not served by any CGHS dispensary or any corresponding Health Schemes administered by other Ministries/Departments, as the case may be, even though their places of residence may fall within the limits of a CGHS covered cities, are required to submit the following documents for claiming Fixed Medical Allowance:

a) An undertaking in the prescribed format.

b) A certificate from the Medical Authorities of CGHS or from authorities of corresponding Health Schemes of the concerned Ministries/Departments, as the case may be, that the area where the pensioner is residing is not served by any dispensary under CGHS or the corresponding Health Scheme administered by the Ministry/Department.

2. Keeping in view the difficulties being faced by the pensioners in obtaining the required certificate from the concerned Medical Authorities, the matter has been reconsidered in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It has now been decided that the pensioners, residing in areas not covered by CGHS or any corresponding Health Schemes administered by other Ministries/Departments, as the case may be, would no longer be required to submit a certificate referred to in para 1 (b) above.

However, such pensioners would continue to submit an undertaking in the following format:

I _______, a retired employee of _____ (Office Address) _________ declare that I am residing at (Residential Address indicated in PPO) , which area is not covered under CGHS or any corresponding Health Scheme administered by the Ministry/Department of , (as the case may be). I have also not obtained and do not wish to obtain a CGHS Card for availing out-door facilities under CGHS/Corresponding Health Scheme of other Ministries/Departments from any dispensary situated in an adjoining area.

3. A Central Government Civil Pensioner is also required to fill the enclosed Form along with above mentioned undertaking.

4. All the pension disbursing authorities are required to obtain the above undertaking along with the Form, as mentioned in Para 3 above, from such pensioners before sanctioning Fixed Medical Allowance. An entry to this effect should also be made in their PPOs.

The Board of Governors, KVS in its 96th meeting held on 28.01.2014, while considering the agenda on adoption of Revised Model Recruitment Rules / Pay Scales for various official language (OL) cadre posts in KVS according to DOPT, Govt. of India OM No. AB-14017/46/2011-Estt(RR) dated 19.09.2013 had, inter-alia, decided as under:-

“The Board approved the Model Recruitment Rules and the pay scales ordered in the OM No AB 14017/46/2011-Estt.(RR) dated 19.09.2013 of GOI, Ministry of Personnel, PG&Pensions, DOPT with the direction that the revised pay scales would be given prospectively only to those OL cadre posts incumbents of KVS who fulfill the eligibility conditions of Model RRs. It was also decided to obtain the approval of MRHD in this matter”.

2.Thereafter a detailed proposal seeking approval of the Ministry of HRD was submitted by KVS letter of even number dated 24.02.2014.

3.After detailed examination of the proposal of KVS, the Ministry of HRD vide their letter No. F. 3-5/2014-UT.2 dated 04.01.2018 has conveyed the approval of the competent authority for adoption of Model Recruitment Rules for the various Official Language cadre posts in KVS w.e.f. 28.01.2014 with the condition that officials presently working in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan would not become automatically eligible for modified scales but only after adoption of RRs and applicability in respect of existing officials would happen, if they are eligible as per the conditions of eligibility of Model Recruitment Rules.

4.Pursuant to the above approval of the Ministry of HRD, the Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan vide KVS office order dated 22.01.2018 constituted a committee under the Chairpersonship of Joint Commissioner (Administration), KVS to verify the eligibility of each incumbent to various Official Language cadre posts in KVS.

5.The committee examined the documents of all the employees from their service records and, in its meeting held on 08.02.2018, found all the existing employees of KVS eligible as per the Model Recruitment Rules. The committee submitted its recommendations on 09.02.2018.

6.Accordingly, approval of the Ministry of HRD is hereby conveyed for the adoption of the revised Model Recruitment Rules and revised pay structure for various Official Language cadre posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan as under:-

Ministry of Railways extends the relaxation in Upper Age Limit for all categories

Online Applications are invited around 90,000 posts in Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) like Track maintainer, Points man, Helper, Gateman, Porter and Group C Level II categories like Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP), Technicians (Fitter, Crane Driver, Blacksmith, Carpenter) through Railway Recruitment Boards websites.

Last date of submission of application would be extended suitably. Option to take exam in regional languages like Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Odiya and others will be available to the candidates. For the ongoing recruitment of Group C Level I & II posts, Ministry of Railways have decided to extend the relaxation in upper age limit as under:

Formal corrigendum is being issued on official websites of RRBs shortly. Last date of submission of application would be extended suitably. It has also been decided that the questions in regional languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Odiya, Telugu, Bangla and others will be available for candidates to take the exam.

Earlier, Ministry of Railways has announced one of the world’s largest recruitment processes for 89409 posts in Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) & Level II Categories. Online applications have been invited for the Group C Level II posts like Assistant Loco Pilots, Technicians (Fitter, Crane Driver, Blacksmith, and Carpenter) and Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) posts like Track maintainer, Points man, Helper, Gateman, Porter. This recruitment drive is open for candidates who have passed Class Xth & ITI for Group C Level I posts & Class Xth & ITI or diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering for Group C Level II posts like Assistant Loco Pilots, Technicians and aspire to join Indian Railways.

Ministry of Railways has published a notification no. CEN 01/2018 for Group C Level II Categories posts for the candidates in the age group of 18-28 years who have passed Class X and have an industrial training certificate (ITI) or diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering.

The notification no. CEN 02/2018 about Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) posts for candidates in the age group of 18-31 years and who have passed Class X and have an industrial training certificate (ITI).
